If you believe that you have been, or are likely to be, a victim of fraud (including identity fraud) you can request to ‘freeze’ your credit report.
This will mean that during the ‘freeze’, Centrix will “suppress” the credit information held on your credit file and will not, except in limited circumstances, provide your credit report to credit providers or update or add information to your credit file.
If you feel you have been a victim of fraud and would like to apply to have your credit file suppressed, please fill in the form below.
Find more details on suppressing your credit file here.
We have an agreement to forward ‘freeze’ requests with the two other credit reporters (Equifax and illion) and can pass these on so you will not need to contact them separately if you agree to this.
If you have concerns about scams, or think you have been a victim of fraud or identity theft, you can contact IDCARE free of charge to get specialist help and practical advice. Visit their website here.
