We use several sophisticated biometric tools to verify your customer’s identity electronically.
Starting with a photograph of a Government issued identification document (passport, driver’s licence, etc), SmartID with biometrics intelligently reads the photograph. Our software landmark tests the document – cross-referencing authenticity marks, and digitises any text in the image like name, date of birth, etc.
We can also capture the data on the identification document and push that through into your online application form for a truly seamless customer onboarding journey – minimising customer keystrokes.
The customer performs a liveness test to ensure biometric matching against a real person, not a photo.
SmartID with biometrics will confirm if the overall ID verification has been successful – biometrics facial match and data verification of name, address and date of birth against multiple databases including credit accounts, energy accounts, property ownership records, driver licence and passport records.
